About

I am a biologist in academia. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow at an R01 institution.

The only thing that has ever come easy to me in life is figuring out I wanted to be a scientist. Everything my amazing biology teacher in high school said had me at the edge of my seat. I wanted to know how DNA worked, but more than that, I wanted to know how scientists designed the experiments that showed how DNA works.

Figuring out anything and everything else has been harder.

I think I am slowly piecing it together. Jigsaw puzzles aren’t really my jam (I prefer video games, card games, and board games), but I think the analogy is apt. I at least have the frame now, even if I haven’t quite got all of the pieces in place yet.

I am writing this blog anonymously, I am not ready for this to be public information. That may change at some point, but I make no promises as to whether that will happen, or if does, on what sort of timetable.
